Description
Two Smastad toy chests from Ikea put together, ordered the plywood sheets from TOSIZE.es, lightly sanded and varnished, and then attached the 18 mm Birch plywood sheets (from the inside with screws). ).
DIY Ikea Smastad Hack
- 2 Ikea smastad toy boxes assembled
- dimensions taken from the boxes, taking into account the skirting boards in the living room
- ordered the planks from TOSIZE.es
- lightly sanded with fine sandpaper,
- varnished twice with Sigmavar WS Matt, this is a fine varnish as it does not smell and is well attached. Good for protecting the shelves, especially with children - the shelves are secured with screws (from the inside). The side planks are also glued to the smastad furniture
