What have you made?

An open wall cabinet of 2 uprights with multiple shelves. The uprights are slightly deeper than the shelves, which gives a playful effect. Then all holes and seams were finished and the cabinet was lacquered three times.

How did you proceed?

Because the floor and ceiling are not completely straight and we wanted a full connection , we started with 2 uprights that we made ourselves. First placed a frame of slats and placed plates against it. We then measured all the dimensions exactly and ordered the planks from OPMAATZAGEN.nl. We had to adjust the last planks, but now everything is super tight! Where the planks touch the uprights we have putty and concealed the screw holes with filler. Sand well and, after a layer of primer, coat it twice more!

The cabinet is 266.0 cm high and 375.0 cm wide.
