Desk with 3 drawers based on old wine boxes.
The local wine seller (Reinkenstraat The Hague) sells the perfect drawers for 2 euros and I did the rest of the project around it . An old belt was cut to make three handles.

DIY: custom desk

First make a working drawing, oversized and thick top with rounded corners (can simply be delivered as is ) thick load-bearing walls and intermediate planks were measured. I ordered the wood as always from OPMAATZAGEN.nl, perfect delivery.
I have 'dark oak' I used varnish from the Gamma and will transparently varnish the job 3 more times for a nice smooth top.
Long screws hold the whole thing firmly together, I filled the screw holes with malleable wood. Under the worktop there are 4 angle irons and Bison mounting kit to hold it in place. The top is securely attached.
There are caps under the sides to prevent damage to the future wooden floor of this attic room.
