Judith has renovated her older pine cupboard with new pine doors, making her cupboard look like new. The cabinet doors close very well with the help of a magnet. She has also made original handles using thick rope, giving the cupboard doors a sturdy look. Need inspiration? Read more about Judith's DIY project here!

Description of Judith

We gave our older pine cupboard two rows of doors. It was an open closet before. We open them with original handles made of thick rope.

How I made this project

  1. Measure the cabinet and have the doors cut to fit the compartments, the sawmill really numbers conveniently measure all doors
  2. measure and mark where hinges, magnets, locks and handles should be placed
  3. Drill holes in all doors for a handle/string
  4. Cut strings, through the hole and tie at the back
  5. Attach the magnetic closure to the cabinet and attach the metal plate to the door
  6. Attach the hinges to the door and to the cabinet, ensuring that everything is secure stuck
  7. Use the cabinet :-)
