Description by Ron

I made a storage box for garden cushions. This storage box is designed to accommodate 10 garden cushions. To increase ease of use, the storage box has a lid that is easy to open and close.

How I made this project

Here is a tutorial for making a garden box for lounge set cushions:

  1. Determine the dimensions of the garden box based on the size of your lounge set cushions. Make sure that the box is spacious enough to store all the cushions.
  2. Cut the wooden planks to the specified dimensions. You will need planks for the bottom, sides, front, back and lid of the box.
  3. Sand the edges and surfaces of the planks smooth with sandpaper to prevent splinters.
  4. Mount the side panels to the front and back of the box using screws. Make sure the planks are securely fastened together.
  5. Attach the bottom plank to the side panels and ensure it is secure.
  6. Place hinges on the back of the box to secure the lid to confirm. Make sure the hinges are securely attached to both the lid and the back of the box.
  7. Test the lid to ensure it opens and closes smoothly.
  8. Check the tightness of the box and make sure that all parts are properly secured.
  9. Optional: Paint or stain the box in a color that matches your garden or terrace. This will protect the box from the weather and make it look more attractive.
