Two bedside tables made of MDF (30mm/18mm/12mm), all ordered sawn according to our own construction drawing. MDF with a pre-treated primer layer is ideal for immediate use.

How I made this project

We couldn't find anything we liked in the furniture stores, especially the height was a problem. problem, so make it yourself. An order list was created based on an initial sketch by our son and everything was ordered online. Upon arrival, everything appeared to be in perfect order and all the correct mm sizes were also delivered. Our model did require a lot of measuring and marking work in advance, where drilling and screw holes should be located. Fitting the two drawers was also a precise job. The fronts are made of self-sawn narrow MDF slats and everything is of course glued in nice straight, continuous lines. Finally, a lot of filling and sanding work, but the end result can be compared to a design design.
