This gives kwartiers sawn timber a calm appearance and relatively straight lines. In mix, these two techniques are processed interchangeably and used during the compilation of the veneer. This creates a natural whole and makes each slab unique.

Unique smoked finish

A smoked top layer of wood means the oak takes on a darker colour. Smoking also makes the veneer less likely to yellow. Small damages are also less visible because of the dark surface. However, it is still important to varnish the panels for durability.
