Phenolic Plywood consists of plywood with a special, light-brown synthetic layer (phenol) on top and underneath. This is a very smooth and water-resistant layer, so that the board can be used for applications that have to withstand rough handling. This makes the board suitable for many applications and for intensive use. Good to know: the colour of the top layer can differ per board.

Phenolic Plywood does not need to be finished, so you can start right away! The inner plywood layer of this board is made of birch wood, so the board is always very flat. The plywood is glued water-resistant, but despite that it is still important to treat the front sides with an edge sealer, so that the moisture-resistant properties are reinforced.
